Marc Anthony is a married man!

The singer, 46, wed model Shannon de Lima in front of close friends and family at his home in La Romana, Dominican Republic, on Tuesday, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple, who got engaged in March, dated on-and-off since 2012.

Anthony – whose divorce from Jennifer Lopez was finalized in June – has been vocal about his unshaken dream of finding a lasting romance.

“I believe in relationships,” he told Wendy Williams in February.

“God has blessed me in so many ways. Material things go, but so far. Success goes, but so far, but when your house is empty and you don’t have someone to invest in – if you don’t have a witness, it’s almost worthless.”
