No butts about it — the girl is hot! Lea Michele opened up about how she got her best body ever in the November issue of Shape magazine. And even though the Scream Queens star, 30, is “passionate about working out,” she refuses to look at the scale.
“As I get older, my body is always changing. Right now I have so much energy, my skin looks good, and my butt is higher than it’s ever been,” she revealed. “I’ve been skinnier and I’ve been a little bit bigger, and I’m never hard on myself one way or the other. The fact that I’m active, eating well and taking care of myself is all that matters — not a number.”
Of course, the former Glee actress gets her cardio in — specifically, SoulCycle, CorePower Hot Yoga and the Studio MDR, “which is sort of like an extreme version of Pilates.” That’s evident on the cover, where she wears an off-the-shoulder knit periwinkle sweater and nothing more, as well as in another photo from the shoot, in which she stuns in a gold long-sleeved Issa de Mar Makena Surfsuit. But some of Michele’s get-fit tips require almost no work at all.

“I’m a grandma — I’m in bed by 9 p.m.,” she noted. “Sleep is the No. 1 thing that gives me energy.”
Confidence is key too. And hers doesn’t come from her Instagram likes or Snapchat views. “I was raised to be confident. But confidence also comes from getting knocked down. When you go through something tough, you come out of it a stronger person,” she mused. “We live in a social media–driven world, where people say whatever they want, and if you’re going to engage with them, you have to be confident … You just have to know who you are and what you believe in.”
But when it comes to cheat days, Michele is, well, just like Us! “My favorite is pizza,” she said of her indulgences. “And mac and cheese. And grilled cheese. Anything with cheese. For dessert, I’ll usually order a cheese plate rather than something sweet. I’d eat an entire block of Wisconsin cheddar over chocolate cake any day.”
