Blake Shelton broke into the country music scene in 2001 with his debut single, “Austin,” which he followed up with his first album, Blake Shelton. He continued to dominate the charts with 2003’s The Dreamer, 2004’s Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill, 2007’s Pure BS and 2008’s Startin’ Fires.
Shelton has released 12 albums, racking up eight Grammy Award nominations and 10 Country Music Association Awards. He was one of the original coaches on The Voice when the NBC singing competition premiered in 2011. Shelton appeared on 23 seasons, competing for the final time in 2023.
Shelton was married to his first wife, Kaynette Williams, from 2003 to 2006. He moved on with Miranda Lambert, whom he married in 2011. The pair announced their divorce in 2015. Later that year, Shelton began dating singer and fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani. The pair wed in July 2021 in an intimate ceremony on his Oklahoma ranch.
